<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a wrong entry and a dirt from being read as a mark erroneously, by reading only the mark in a prescribed position, which is preliminarily stored, on an information recording medium to issue the output. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed position for mark recording on a sheet is preliminarily stored basing on the length from the leading edge of the OMR sheet in a memory 3. A reading part 5 reads the start mark and sends it to an output controlling part 6. A sensor 1 and a counter 2 measure the length from the leading edge of the sheet to the read position of this mark. During this measurement, a discriminating part 4 discriminates the prescribed position for recording on the sheet. The output controlling part 6 collates the measured mark read position with contents of the memory and the position discriminated by the part 4; and only when the output controlling part 6 confirms that the reading part 5 reads the mark in the prescribed position for recording, the output is sent to a code converter, and otherwise, the output is not issued.</p> |
