PURPOSE:To improve the electric characteristic of an LSI wiring pattern, by changing a pattern with inferior electric characteristic into one with better quality in preparing the wiring pattern of a segment fixed LSI. CONSTITUTION:A means 1 to detect a fixed segment having a redundant part from conventional wiring patterns checks the exixtence of such a fixed segment. When the fixed segment having a redundant part is detected, it is searched by the means 2 whether a new route alternative to the route mediating the fixed segment can be or not realized in a free wiring layer. When the means 2 discovers a new route, the comparison of electric characteristic berween the new route and original one is executed by the means 3. When the new route improves electric characteristic, the means 4 removes a pattern on the free wiring connected to the fixed segment having a redundant part to bury a new pattern. |
