PURPOSE:To impart lubricity and abrasion resistance to the date wheel, the lever for driving the data wheel, the wheel displaying the day of the week, and the lever for driving said wheel, of a specific organic metal compound, an organic compoud and lubricating fine solid powder to the surface of the above parts. CONSTITUTION:The whole surface, or especially the sliding parts of a data wheel, a lever for driving the data wheel, and/or a wheel displaying the day of the week and a lever for driving the wheel, is coated with a treating liquid consisting of (A) a tetraalkoxysilane compound, (B) a tetraalkoxytitanium compound, (C) a hexakis(alkoxymethyl)-melamine compound of formula, (D) lubricating fine solid powder, and (E) an organic solvent, and heated, e.g. at 60-250 deg.C for 5-100min to form a coating film. |
