<p>The funnel (d) acts as a diffusor fitted to the top of a chimney extending upwards from a wind turbine and provides an undercurrent for drawing air up the chimney to improve the operation of the wind turbine. This allows useful energy to be provided by the wind turbine for horizontal wind currents. Pref. the funnel (d) has a double diffusor ring (e,f) with a conical outer profile. It can be rotated relative to the chimney to alter the discharge direction.</p> |
