The invention relates to a warning device with triangular warning surfaces, in particular for use in road traffic. The warning device is composed of a hollow, multi-sided, regular pyramid, the open base surface of which is an equilateral polygon and the triangular side surfaces of which are pivotably connected to one another or hinged to one another. Furthermore, the triangular side surfaces are of pivotable or hinged design along their triangular height or their contour line. By virtue of this design, it is possible to fold together the pyramid-shaped warning device in a space-saving manner to form a triangular package. To increase the solidity and stability, inserts or supports made of a heavy material can be provided in the region of the base sides of the triangle; furthermore, the triangle sides can be equipped for example at the foot of the contour lines with a releasable locking device. The pyramid is preferably of truncated design and, as a result, at the peak an opening is formed which can be used to hold a hazard warning lamp. <IMAGE> |
