The skirting board radiator with a finned copper tube supported by wall mounted brackets, uses plastics longitudinal rails (20) to fit into slots in the fins to support the heating tube. Upper and lower brackets carry the skirting plate which conceals the heating tube, and the rails are supported by the lower brackets. Each rail has a vertical arm (21) with its bottom tip (21a) resting on the brackets and a horizontal arm (19) which locks into horizontal slots in the plates forming the ribs. Each horizontal arm consists of two parallel halves (19a) terminating in rounded hooked tips (19b) which lock into T-shaped slots in the plates. The whole heating tube is gripped tightly between two parallel rails. PS.
