PURPOSE:To elevate the efficiency of data transfer, by reading out retry information, deciding a retry method being optimum for a faulty state, and transferring data, when occurrence of a fault has been detected in the course of transferring the data. CONSTITUTION:In a transfer controller 3 provided between CPU 1 and a terminal equipment 2, retry information showing a retry condition is set 7 at every transfer data, and is stored in a memory 8. When a fault has been detected at 6 in the course of transferring data to the terminal equipment from the CPU 1 and vice versa, by its control signal, the retry information is checked from the memory 8, a retry method is decided, and retry is controlled at 9. The retry information is formed by a kind of data, a kind of retry, the number of times of retry, etc. In this way, a countermeasure in the event of a fault is executed properly, and the transfer efficiency is elevated. |
