<p>PURPOSE:To prevent snaking of a rolling material surely by adjusting roll clearance of each rolling mill so as to reduce difference of load between driving side and operating side detected by a load inspection machine for rollig material installed between an upstream side rolling mill and a downstream side rolling mill. CONSTITUTION:When snaking of a rolling material 3 takes place in the direction of a downstream side rolling mill 2, the load difference between driving side and operating side caused by output of a driving load detector 5a and an operating side load detector 5b is calculated by a snaking detection circuit 10. In the case where the load difference exceeds a limit value LT of detected load difference given from outside, it indicates that the rolling mateial 3 snaked to driving side. A roll clearance adjusting circuit 11 receives above-mentioned snaking signal and sends out signals to adjust the roll clearance of driving side or/and operating side of an upstream side rolling mill 1 or/and rolling mill 2 so as to reduce the load difference between driving side and operating side. Consequently, snaking of the rolled stock can be prevented surely.</p> |
