PURPOSE:To improve a resistance to vibration by a method wherein an elastic member of rubber or the like is formed at the outside of an inner tube through which an attaching member such as a bolt or the like is penetrated and, further, an outer tube formed by a rigid synthetic resin having a glass transition temperature of 70 deg.C or more is formed at the outside thereof. CONSTITUTION:The shock absorber is formed by the inner tube 1, an insulator rubber 2, secured integrally to the outside of the inner tube 1 as the elastic member and the outer tube 3, secured integrally to the outside of the rubber 2 and divided into two pieces in the axial direction thereof. Here, a synthetic resin having the glass transition temperature of 70 deg.C or more is utilized for the rigid synthetic resin as the material of the outer tube 3. According to this method, the anti-corrosive properties of the shock absorber is excellent and it may contribute to improve the fuel consumption of a motorcar or the like by reducing the weight thereof, further, it enables to be formed integrally in case it is to be provided with a fitting part. |
