PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive electronic beam bender of simple constitution by laminating plural transparent electrodes on a transparent dielectric flat plate, which has electrooptic effect characteristics, while transparent insulating films are interposed. CONSTITUTION:Partially circular electrodes 2a-2c0 of transparent thin films are formed centering on vertexes on the top and reverse sides of a transparent dielectric flat plate 1 which has electrooptic effect characteristics and is nearly in a rectangular triangle shape. After a transparent insulator 3 is formed covering said electrodes, partially circular electrodes 4a-4c0 having a greater radius than said electrodes are formed concentrically. Thus, the partially circular electrodes are laminated while the transparent insulators are interposed respectively to obtain an electronic beam bender. Then, different voltages are applied successively to said electrodes to bent light with which the flat plate 1 is irradiated through electrooptic effect. Thus, the inexpensive electronic beam bender of simple structure is formed. |
