<p>PURPOSE:To realize a switching display of pictures which are required to be displayed again with a picture display device equiped with a cathode-ray tube, by installing a picture storing region in the display device and memory assigning marks and display marks at prescribed locations of the cathode-ray tube. CONSTITUTION:When a picture which is to be stored because it is expected to be displayed again exists, the operator assigns one of memory assigning marks MCM of a cathode-ray tube through a light pen LTP, and then, a central processor CPU detects a photoelectric detect signal from the light pen LTP and stores basic data regarding the picture being displayed in a picture memory region PMA. When another picture which is required to be stored next exists, the next memory assigning mark MCM is indicated by the light pen LTP. When the picture stored in the memory assigning region PMA is to be displayed again, a display mark DPM at a location corresponding to the memory assigning mark is indicated. Then the display is immediately switched to the picture.</p> |
