PURPOSE:To constitute a closed magnetic path by one surface side so that recording and reproducing can be executed with high density, by constituting so that a magnetic head is pressed against only one surface of a magnetic recording medium. CONSTITUTION:On an auxiliary magnetic block 5, 3 parallel projecting parts 5a, 5b and 5c are formed. The center of the projecting part 5b is cut and a recessed part is formed. The upper part of a main magnetic pole 6 consisting of a high magnetic permeability magnetic thin film is pinch-held by nonmagnetic blocks 7, 7' of glass, etc., other part is pinch-held by magnetic blocks 8, 8', and also they are formed in one body and constituted a prismatic main magnetic pole block. The lower surface of the main magnetic pole block provided with a winding 9 is fixed to the bottom surface of the recessed part of said projecting part 5b. |
