PURPOSE:To prevent blown off air from flowing back into the titled pipe as an exhaust pipe and to improve the drafting effect of the pipe by a method wherein a wind receiving plate whose top end spreads out upwardly in the vertical direction is fixed to the top of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:A wind receiving plate 2 whose top end spreads out upwardly in the vertical direction is provided at the upper peripheral surface of the horizontal section of the T type pipe 1. Further, a vibration-proof rod 4 serving as a support is hung down from the center of an upper cover 3 of the pipe 1 so that the rod 4 passes through a vibration-proof plate 7 fitted in a lower pipe 9 and is held rotatably on a receiving plate 8. In this case, the connecting part of the horizontal section of the T pipe 1 and the lower pipe 9 is made rotatable, too. With the above structure, the exhaustion of air through the T pipe 1 is facilitated by directing an opening at the top of the chimney 1 toward the direction of the wind. |
