<p>Box for packaging and/or display purposes is made from a rectangular panel of transparent film on to the borders of which are fixed shaped flaps of cardboard which can be folded and interlocked to convert the flat composite sheet into a box with a transparent body closed off by opaque ends. Pref. the overlap between film and core layers is at least 1 cm deep and the borders of the film are locally cut back to at least a corresponding depth to coincide with folding axes: pref. the cuts are at least 6 mm wide and 1-2 mm deeper than the overlap. Specifically claims such boxes where the transparent film is of PVC. The cardboard ends are easier to stick securely together, to secure the contents, then integral flaps of plastic film.</p> |
