PURPOSE:To display the number of manually inserted copying sheets without using any special counter device and display device by displaying the contents of a manual insertion counter for copying paper only when said counter is abled and the copying by manual insertion is carried out. CONSTITUTION:When an interruption key 160 is operated during copying by automatic paper feeding, a manual insertion counter built in a CPU200 is abled. When a manual insertion detection switch 136 detects the leading end of manually inserted paper, a manual feed clutch 132 is turned on by the CPU200 and the copying by the manual feeding is accomplished. Then, the number of manually inserted copying sheets is displayed by a display device 155 cleared by the CPU200. Therefore, the number of manually inserted copying sheets is displayed surely without using any special counter device and display device. |
