KNOCKING DETECTING DEVICE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PURPOSE:To remove erroneous detection of knocking by offset in a knocking detecting device. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a knocking sensor 1 which detects knocking occurring condition of an internal combustion engine is inputted to a microcomputer 7 through each of processing circuits 2-6. The microcomputer 7 determines knocking based on this signal but determines the knocking based on a corrected new signal obtained by subtracting the pre-detected offset portion of each of processing circuits 2-6 from this signal. The detection of this offset is achieved by passing a preset signal through each of processing circuits 2-6 and utilizing a difference between the input and output of those circuits.
