PURPOSE:To prevent pressure increase in the tank by a method wherein the vapor of gasoline in the fuel tank is cooled to liquidify it when the vapor pressure thereof becomes high. CONSTITUTION:When the vapor pressure of the gasoline in the fuel tank 2 has exceeded a set value during the rotation of an engine 15, a pressure switch 11 is closed and an electromagnetic valve 6 is opened. On the other hand, an electromagnetic clutch 14 is excited and the output shaft 16 as well as the driving shaft 13 of the engine 15 are coupled, a compressor 5 is driven, a refrigerant carrie in an enclosed pipeline 7 is cooled and the temperature thereof is lowered when it is carried to a cooler 3 and expanded, therefore, the interior of the fuel tank 2 is cooled, the vaporized gasoline is liquidified and the pressure in the tank is lowered. Then, the pressure switch 11 is opened, the electromagnetic clutch 14 is separated, the driving of the compressor 5 is released and the cooling operation is stopped. |
