<p>A tenoner is provided with two driven milling cutters (3) positioned opposite each other on both sides of a travelling carrier (2) for a workpiece (14). Each cutter (3) is carried in a carriage (12) mounted in a supporting element (4) which comprises a base (8) displaceable on the frame (1) in two mutually perpendicular directions and which is also tiltable around two mutually perpendicular axes (10 and 13) for setting the place and angular position of the concerning tenon (15).</p><p>Said axes (10, 13) intersect each other at an imaginary point (M) coinciding with the root of the tenon (15) i.e. the centre of the common attachment plane of tenon (15) and workpiece (14).</p> |
