PURPOSE:To obtain a sensitive receptor having flat sensitivity over the whole visible range and the wavelength range of a semiconductor laser and superior endurance by adding a specified trisazo compound to a charge generating layer and a specified diarylmethane compound to a charge transferring layer. CONSTITUTION:A charge generating layer contg. a triphenylamine type trisazo compound represented by formulaIis formed on an electrically conductive support. A charge transferring layer contg. a diarylmethane compound represented by formula II[where R1 is 1-11 C alkyl, (substituted) phenyl or a (substituted) heterocyclic ring, each of R2 and R3 is H, 1-4 C alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, chloroalkyl or (substituted) aralkyl, R2 and R3 may bond to each other to form a heterocyclic ring contg. N, and each of R4 and R5 is H, 1-4 C alkyl, alkoxy or halogen]is then formed on the charge generating layer. Thus, a receptor having high sensitivity over the whole visible range and the wavelength range of a semiconductor laser and superior endurance is obtd. |
