The invention relates to a device by means of which the range of tolerances of electrical resistances can be checked. The device indicates by means of a simple good/bad indication whether the measured resistance is within the tolerance range set. When electrical resistances are manufactured, particularly in the case of coils, relays, transformers and so forth, it is of importance, on the one hand, that the value of the resistance is within two limits and, on the other hand, the accurate value does not need to be determined precisely. It is therefore of advantage to use only a good/bad indication. The device determines the percentage deviation from the set point and converts it into a good/bad indication. The drawing shows an illustrative embodiment. 1. This coding switch is used for setting the set point of the resistance to be tested. 2.
