PURPOSE:To mitigate a character signal waiting time, by providing a storage transfer controlling means which controls between a character multiplex signal pickup means and a plurality of buffers, or the buffer memories and display memories. CONSTITUTION:An operating control section 2 stransfers and stores information of character multiplex signal to buffer memories 10-13. The number code in the memories 10-13 is stored in a job memory 6. Theoperation control section 2 fetches a program code inputted with interruption, stores it to the job memory 6 tentatively and compares whether or not the program code and that in the buffer memories 10-13 stored before and coincident. If coincident, the number of the buffer memory in coincidence is given to a memory control section 8, which outputs the address signal of the memory having the number of the buffer memory and also the address for a display memory 15 to be written. Further, a read/write control signal is generated to convert the buffer memories into readout state and the display memories into write state. |
