PURPOSE:To accurately detect the phase difference between the 1st and 2nd signals over a range of 360 deg., by obtaining a phase difference signal with a time width corresponding to the phase difference between the 1st and 2nd signals from a set output terminal of the 1st flip-flop circuit. CONSTITUTION:In the 1st FF8, the output of a comparator 1 is connected to a clock input CL, a power supply voltage Vcc is to an input D and a set input S is connected to ground and a set output Q is connected to an output terminal respectively. In the 2nd FF9, an output of a comparator 3 is connected to a clock input CL, the power supply Vcc is to the input D, the set input S is to ground, and the set output Q is connected to a reset input R of the FF8 and the reset output Q of the FF8 is connected to the reset input R respectively. Thus, since a phase difference signal taking the leading time interval between signals A and B as a time interval is transmitted from an output terminal 7, a rectangular wave output having the time interval corresponding to the phase difference over one period of the signal A, that is, 360 deg. can be obtained accurately. |
