PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous setting of the titled cooker and to improve the reliability thereof by a method wherein a cooking sequence is automatically set and a cooking menu is displayed in the form of characters when the user of the cooker tells the cooking menu before a microphone. CONSTITUTION:When the user of a cooker tells a desired menu by name before a microphone 6, his voice is converted into a characteristic parameter by an input means 10 and a voice recognition means 9 and a cooking menu retrieval means 12 detects the corresponding cooking menu. The menu is then displayed on a character display device 4b through a character display data memory 13. At the same time, a cooking sequence which is stored in the cooker in advance is called out through a cooking control means 14, a heater 11 is controled and the process of such control is displayed on a numerical display device 4a, to thereby prevent the cooker from being set erroneously. |
