The coupling device joins together conduit sections of plate material, being partic. for an air conduit lined with insulating material. It comprises an outer casing (1) matching the outside shape of the conduit (11,11'), and an inner casing (2) clear of the outer one, together with fixing devices (3) for the conduit walls between them. These devices can consist of strips at a short distance from the outer casing and with teeth engaging with the conduit wall between them and the outer casing. Alternatively they can have lips engaging with indentations in the conduit wall.
