<p>PURPOSE:To electrically discriminate on ROM of a semiconductor integrated circuit and then to automate various processing, by adding an instruction for outputting information on the discrimination of an incorporated ROM. CONSTITUTION:When an instruction code inputted from the outside through an input and output interface 5, the instruction is decoded by an instruction decoder 7 generally through an instruction register 6. An instruction for outputting discrimination information, on the other hand, is decoded by the instruction decoder which corresponds to an empty address 8 to output a signal to a control circuit part 9. By this signal, the control circuit part outputs the discrimination information. Further, the same effect is obtained by adding a control pit for indicating the output of the discrimination information to even an ROM-incorporated semiconductor circuit other than a one-chip microcomputer.</p> |
