PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive body having excellent performance by forming an electric charge transfer layer of an amorphous carbon film and an electric charge generating layer of a hydrogenated or fluorinated amorphous SiGe film contg. C atoms and contg. at least either of P and B atoms. CONSTITUTION:The charge transfer layer is formed of the hydrogenated amorphous carbon film. On the other hand, the charge generating layer is formed of the hydrogenated amorphous SiGe film which contains the C atoms and contains at least either of the P atoms or B atoms or the fluorinated amorphous SiGe film which contains the C atoms and contains at least either of the P atoms or B atoms. The photosensitive body is formed by laminating the charge transfer layer 2 and the charge generating layer 3 successively on a conductive substrate 1. High durability and stable performance as the photosensitive body are thereby exhibited. |
