The swim fin (18) is rigid and is joined to a supple pocket for the foot which can be adjusted to the size of the user's foot. The pockets for the front of the foot and the heel are separate and have double soles (3,4,5,6) in which the fin slides. The soles are joined laterally by vertical walls and the back of the heel is joined by a curved wall (11) corresponding to the shape of the end (19) of the fin. The fin has a narrow part (17) that slides in a groove (9,10) between the side walls.
