PURPOSE:To exactly measure the amount of penetration of a bar body by a method in which a bar body is provided in a tubular body in such a way that one end of the bar body comes into contact with a shoe block and the other end is projected from the upper end of the tubular body to the ground' surface, and a measurer for the amount of penetration of the bar body is provided on the ground's surface. CONSTITUTION:When a shoe block 12 is driven into the support substratum of a tubular body 10 by the vertical load of a weight 15, the whole of a bar body 20 is penetrated by the same distance as the penetrated amount of the shoe block 12. The penetration of the bar body 20 is represented as the lowering displacement of the upper end portion 24 of the bar body on the ground's surface, and the penetration amount of the shoe block is measured by a measurer 28 set on the ground's surface. |
