PURPOSE:To simplify the structure, to facilitate the operation control and to improve the optical capacity of a copying machine, by rotating a slit member having a prescribed slit width with the center line in the slit direction as the axis. CONSTITUTION:A slit 17 having a desired maximum slit width is provided in a plate material 15 having a width considerably wider than the desired maximum slit width to constitute a slit member 19. This slit member 19 has shaft members 21 at both edges on the extension of the center line of the slit 17, and these shaft members 21 are supported axially by the bearing member of a copying machine main body. A gear 23 is fixed to one shaft member 21 and meshes with a gear 27 attached to the output shaft of a stepping motor which is attached to the copying machine main body. Thus, the structure is simple, and the operation control is easy, and the optical capacity of the copying machine is improved. |
