PURPOSE:To obtain a titled compsn. which does not produce any toxic gas during operating stage and does not require sand firing after casting by adding specific amts. of radical polymn. catalysts of which the temps. requiring half- life of 10hr are specific to a crystalline unsaturated polyester resin compsn. CONSTITUTION:0-50pts.wt. an unsaturated prepolymer and monomer which are copolymerizable with a crystalline unsaturated polyester resin having virtually no tack at ordinary temp. or their mixture is compounded with 100pts.wt. said polyester resin, whereby an unsaturated polyester resin compsn. is prepd. 0-5pts.wt. mixed radical polymn. catalysts constituted of 10-90% a radical polymn. catalyst of which the temp. required for half-life of 10hr is >=130 deg.C and 90-10% a vadical polymn. catalyst of which the temp. requiring half-life of 10hr is 100-130 deg.C are compounded with 100pts.wt. said compsn.
