<p>The invention provides a method of treating a nonwoven fabric, especially glass wool, to provide a surface that will accept printing fluids without spreading. In the method a plastisol with a viscosity (Newtonian) between 4 and 30 poise is applied to one surface to impregnate the fabric, which is then pressed-by a pressure roller against a cylinder heated to between 130.degree. and 180.degree. C, the said surface being in contact with the cylinder and being the surface to which the printing fluid is applied.</p> |
