PURPOSE:To enable a pair of calender rolls to be in close contact with a cylinder by forming an electrode material bound together with a relatively small amount of a resin into a sheet, and obtain a defectless electrode sheet efficiently, at a low cost, by extruding the said electrode material from the cylinder between the calender rolls by means of a piston. CONSTITUTION:A kneaded mixture 25 kneaded sufficiently by means of a press kneader or something similar is packed into a cylinder 21. Next, the packed mixture 25 is extruded toward calender rolls 22 by means of a hydraulic piston 26 so as to obtain a sheet 27, and the sheet 27 is made into a sheet 28 by means of calender rolls 23. Here, the sheet 27 extruded from the rolls 22 has a constant width since a roll contact part 24, the shape of which is indicated in the figure, is attached between the cylinder 21 and the calender roll 22. In addition, since the mixture 25 is formed into the sheets 27 and 28 through the rotations of the rolls 22 and 23, a continuous sheet can be obtained without causing any break or hole in the sheet as far as the pressure of the piston 26 is sufficiently large. |
