The annular grinding chamber (1), filled with abrasive material and workpieces, has a flow-guiding outer peripheral wall (1a), a rising wall (1b) and an inner peripheral wall formed by a cylindrical core (6). A plurality of blades (7) are fastened on the cylindrical core in an inclined position, with the result that the stream of abrasive material and workpieces is directed downwards in order to increase the grinding action.
