PURPOSE:To obtain a captioned device using air-suction and mechanical operations for carrying out powder material perpendicularly and smoothly by inserting a hollow screw shaft into an outer cylinder and generating a negative pressure in the said shaft by a suction drive means. CONSTITUTION:For pneumatic conveyance, a vacuum force is operated in the hollow part of a screw shaft 2, and powder material 20 is sucked into the screw shaft 2 from a nozzle 11 together with primary air stream 21. The powder material 20 is conveyed upward in the shaft 2 by a great amount of secondary air stream 22 sucked from a secondary-air supply port 19 in the upper part of the nozzle 11. At this stage, when the density as far as openings 13 bored on the shaft 2 is improper to the pneumatic conveyance afterwards, that is, excessive, the power material 20 is partly scattered from the openings 13 by the centrifugal force caused by the revolution of the shaft 2. Meanwhile, for mechanical conveyance, powder material 20 is conveyed upward in a cylindrical space 23 from an opening 12 in the lower part of an outer cylinder 1 by the revolution of the screw shaft 2. |
