摘要 PURPOSE:To measure a distance with high accuracy, by allowing the scattering wave from an object to be measured to interface with the reference wave from a transmitter to detect the interfered state by a receiver. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter 1 has a transmission antenna 2 and a transmission circuit 3 to transmit a microwave having a wavelength of about 10cm and the interfered state of the scattering wave reflected from an object and the reference wave from the transmitter 1 is detected by scanning the receiving antenna 5 of a receiver 4 in a vertical direction. At this time, the position of the antenna 5 is read by a position sensor 7 and the output signal from the sensor 7 is held by the first pulse holding circuit 12 through a-b of an analogue switch 11. Next, after the predetermined time determined by a pulse delay circuit 10, the switch 11 turns OFF through a-b and ON through a-c. Subsequently, when the detection signal of the next interference fringe position is outputted from a receiving circuit 6, the position of the antenna 5 is detected by the position sensor 7 and the output signal of the sensor 7 is held by the second pulse holding circuit 13 through the switch 11. An operation circuit 15 operates the distance up to the object from the values held by the circuits 12, 13.
