<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the printing of information on the amount of money effective for the prevention of illegal use by scaling numeric information in a numeric information storage device, and then printing out character information obtained by conversion based upon the scaling output and each position-number value. CONSTITUTION:When prescribed pieces of information are stored in counters 16 and 17, character pattern information on a number which corresponds to the most significant digit N of a numeric information storage device 11 is outputted from an ROM20 and the printed on a printer 8. Then, an address 21 is generated on the basis of the contents of the counter 16, and ''kanji'' (Chinese character) patterns for scaling up to ten, a hundred, and a thousand and printed on the printer 8 while the counter 16 goes down by one. Then, the address of the digit N-1 is generated at a part 23 and a position which corresponds to the contents of the counter 16 is selected to perform printing operation. This operation is repeated and when the counter 16 goes down to zero, an address is selected by an address generating circuit 22 on the basis of the contents of the counter 17, thereby printing a character pattern for the scaling of every 4th digit such as ten thousand, one hundred million, etc. Thus, data are printed with numbers, represented in ''kanji'', which includes scaling data.</p> |
