PURPOSE:An oil composition for refrigerator that contains an alkylbenzene with a specific dynamic viscosity as the major component, thus showing good wearing resistance and high stability to coolant and reducing the consumption of electric power. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed of (A) an alkylbenzene which is shown by the formula (R1 is 9-40C alkyl; R2 is H, 9-40C alkyl) and has a dynamic viscosity of 5-20, preferably 5-16cst at 40 deg.C, as the major component, and preferably (B) 1ppm-10.0wt% at least one of additives selected from the groups consisting of hydrochloric acid acceptors, antiabrasives, antioxidants and antifoaming agents. |
