The device (16) has LEDs (18) connected on a plane support board (20) in form of a printed circuit plate and a luminous ray processing unit (24) i.e. optimal element, for processing luminous rays emitted by the LEDs. The processing unit has a reflection unit (74) for orienting the luminous rays to obtain a required illumination zone. The processing unit has a refraction unit (76) for optimizing the transmission of the luminous rays to the exterior by limiting the parasite reflections of the luminous rays towards the interior of the device.
