<p>A device for uniformly dropping granular or powdery materials on a substrate to obtain uniform appearance of spotted pattern, comprising: a hopper (5) containing dispersible materials; a rotatable substrate (1) disposed under the hopper (5) on which the materials to be dropped to obtain an appearance of spotted pattern; a grooved roller (2) rotating in a direction at an adjustable speed to pick-up the materials from the hopper (5), the hopper (5) being disposed below the top-most portion of the grooved roller (2); a rubber roller (4) disposed on the top of the grooved roller (2) and rotating in a direction corresponding to the rotating direction of the grooved roller (2), the rubber roller (4) when lowered to barely touch the grooved roller (2) wiping away the excess material from the groves (7} of the grooved roller (2) to ensure all the materials from the grooves (7) being dropped on the substrate (1); and a brush (6) provided at an angle in respect of the grooves (7) of the grooved roller (2) to further wipe-cut any residual materials from the grooves (7) including preventing any lump formation leading to uniform and controlled dispersion of the particles on the substrate (1).</p> |
