PURPOSE:To facilitate the discrimination of a paper tape and to ensure the correct control of the paper tape, by automatically perforating the corresponding character pattern at the head part of the paper tape in case the code data forming a header part are supplied. CONSTITUTION:Head perforation data is supplied to a processing part 12 from an input part 11. If the data is decided to belong to a header part based on the count value of a counter 13, the perforation data A-D are stored in the head address position of an input storage part 14. Furthermore, access is carried out to a character pattern storing part 16, and each column pattern data is read, successively and fed to a puncher part 15 to carry out the perforation of a paper tape. As a result, the identification of the paper tape becomes easy and assured for an operator by referring to the character patterns A-D of the paper tape. |
