<p>The vegetable picker has a cutting blade (14a) mounted on a deformable parallelogram-section frame (3) supported by the chassis (1). The frame permits the blade to move laterally and transversally w.r.t. the chassis. The frame includes two sensors (20,21) which actuate a hydraulic fluid distributor to keep the blade in a position penetrating the soil by a certain amount regardless of the contour of the soil. The blade is kept on a level with the bases of the plant stalks to cut them off. A conveyor which is as wide as the blade extends backwards from it and is inclined upwardly towards the rear.</p> |
