Unsaturated polyesters

The invention relates to unsaturated polyesters containing oligomers of cyclopentadiene as terminal groups. More than 20% of the cyclopentadiene oligomers have a degree of polymerisation of >/= 3. The unsaturated polyesters can be used in the form of their solutions in ethylenically unsaturated monomers for the production of mouldings and coatings.
