<p>The film cassette is for radiography equipment. There is a rigid cylindrical support (2) with two thrust faces (A,B) and a mandrel (112) against which the film (4) is rolled. There are also seals working with a cover (6) so that when the cover is closed, the film is pressed against the mandrel, sheltered from light. The seals are a combination of an opaque screen (111) and a plate (5) of carbon fibre, pressed against the thrust face (A) and against one another when the cover is closed. There is also a foam strip (11) pressing against the face (B) to block light.</p> |
