A sealant composition suitable for use, for example, in spot welding comprising thermoplastic synthetic polymeric material and not more than 15% by weight of the composition of finely divided zinc. Examples use a composition comprising polybutene, butyl rubber, finely divided inorganic compound and finely divided zinc. Presence of the minor amount of zinc inhibits corrosion in spot welded metal parts. |
