PURPOSE:To easily strip a support and facilitate reuse, by covering a cylindrical heat-shrinkable film on the cylindrical support of the image-bearing mterial of a photoreceptor or the like, heat shrinking the film, and vapor depositing a metal on the film. CONSTITUTION:A 20mum thick cylindricl heat-shrinkable polyester film is covered on a 160phiX340mm. aluminum cylinder, and dipped in 95 deg.C hot water for 30min to shrink it. A 1mum thick Te vapor-deposited layer is formed on the polyester film at 5X10<-5>mm. Hg vacuum and at 300 deg.C evaporation source temperature and 20 deg.C film temperature. It is also deposited on the sides of the cylinder to render the Te layer conductive to the aluminum cylinder. On this Te layer a 60mum thick Se photoconductive layer is formed by the vapor deposition method, and further on this film, a photocurable type urethane resin is coated, and photocured. The obtained photoreceptor showed good result in a durability test. To reuse this drum, the cylinder can be easily stripped of the film from the end, and it can be used in any times. |
