The essence of the device according to the invention lies in the fact that it consists of a grate which is provided on both sides in the axis of movement of the grate with a pin which is displaceable on sliding or rolling-off tracks which are arranged on supports, and of a drawing pressure unit which is built in in a chain which is provided on the outer sides with rollers for displacement of the chain in the guide. The drawing pressure unit consists of a two-sided hook which is tippable about a horizontal pin which is mounted in bearings in the form of webs for pressing the grate. On one side of the two-sided hook there is an inclined run-on surface and a groove for receiving the pin of the grate and the second balancing side of the two-sided hook is provided with a bearing of the change-over pin. A part of the guide of the rollers of the chain is provided on the upper side with a single guide piece with the track for the rolling off of the rollers which are arranged at both ends of the change-over pin, with a double guide piece with the upper track and the lower track for rolling-off of the rollers and with disengagement profiles. The displacement of the rollers into the track of the single guide piece and into the lower track of the double guide piece or the displacement onto the upper track of the double guide piece is ensured by the displacement device which is arranged above the guide of the rollers of the chain in the space in front of the run-on profile of the single guide piece and of the double guide piece.
