PURPOSE:To improve the controllability of an internal combustion engine, by controlling, based on the amount of air sucked into the internal combustion engine, the amount of fuel to be fed according to the pulse of an ignition coil and the pressure of the engine or to the amount of the air and the temperature. CONSTITUTION:The amount of air sucked into the internal combustion engine is detected by a Karman's vortex street flow rate meter 5. When the detected amount of air exceeds a prescribed value, based on the detected pulse of the ignition coil and the pressure 9 of the internal combustion engine the amount of the fuel to be fed is controlled. If the detected amount of air is not greater than the prescribed value, the amount of fuel is controlled based on the detected amount of air and the temperature 10. Thus, the controllability of the internal combustion engine can be enhanced. |
