Layout for production of finely divided powder, which contains a UHF plasmatron with a coaxial line and a discharge chamber, also a unit 10 for feeding in the starting material, also a reaction container 11, also filters 12 and a powder collection container 13. The reaction container 11 has the shape of a truncated cone, whose upper base surface is arranged to support the plasmatron and the filter 12. The lower base surface of the reaction container 11 is joined to the powder collection container 13. The unit 10 for feeding in the starting substance consists of a probe, which is led through the hollow centre conductor of the coaxial line. The discharge chamber in the plasmatron is in communication with the reaction container 11.
