PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable method and device for transmitting a power headroom report in a multi-carrier supporting communication system.SOLUTION: In a power headroom report transmission method, a terminal uses maximum transmittable power of a terminal for each of one or more activated serving cells to calculate a power headroom for each of the one or more activated serving cells, and transmits a power headroom report to a base station, the power headroom report including a power headroom for each of the one or more activated serving cells and the maximum transmission power of the terminal for each of the one or more activated serving cells.
