<p>An all-terrain amphibious motor vehicle includes at least one supplementary axle (3,4) having independent wheels (6) which can be raised and removed when not in use. A track (5) on each side of the vehicle passes over at least one pair of wheels the hubs of which are all interconnected by a small beam which is jointed or presents a certain flexibility allowing the centre wheels (6) to be raised. The driving wheels (6') carry projections (9) which locate into the track to provide traction. Floatation bags are attached to the perimeter of the vehicle chassis and inflate when the vehicle is travelling through water.</p> |
